NYC nail polish - 253 Mint Macaroon

Hello! :-)

I discovered NYC nail polish recently and I'm totally wowed! I can honestly say that the quality is excellent, incomparably better than some high priced nail polish. They are quite affordable, don't chip for days, apply very easily, just perfect. I already bought a few bottles and it's needless to say that I'll buy more colours. Absolutely great bargain!

This is Mint Macaroon #253, gorgeous mint shade.:-)
Thanks for visiting! xxx

Essence lipstick - All about cupcake

It's summer and I currently love Essence lipstick in "All about cupcake". :-) Someone said cupcakes?;-) Mmmm.... Anyway onto the lipstick!
Very sheer pink colour, I think it would suit almost all skin tones. I am not a big fan of sheer lispticks (but I am fond of cupcakes!:-)), this one is just great because I can wear it anywhere, anytime. Very handy lipstick to have. :-) I will definitely repurchase it.
Enjoy the evening! :-)

No7 Skin Illuminator - Pink

It's about time to write a bit about my HG highlighter - No7 skin illuminator in Pink.
It took me a long time to decide to buy it, I don't even know why...I was thinking about it for a while and whenever I swatched it on my hand it looked like it had some glitter. Anyway I'm glad I was wrong!
The moment I decided to buy it was when I tried it on my face (and not on my hand), it looked so nice that I was pleasantly surprised by the effect it gives! I use it almost every day and it doesn't look glittery at all. It just makes my face look a lot healthier, nice and glowy. All in all, well done No7! :-)
The only thing I don't like about this is the packaging. It comes with a brush applicator and too much of the illuminator comes out.
I always apply it with my No7 foundation brush because it gives more natural finish.
My rating (scale 1-5, 1 - the worst, 5 - the best)

* quality: 5 - excellent quality, excellent staying power, no glitter, just nice and glowy finish, I love it

* packaging: 2 - I don't like the brush applicator, too much of the product comes out

* how long does it stay on: 5 - excellent staying power, I usually don't even need to reapply during the day

* would I buy it again: definitely yes!

* overall: 5 - I love this product so much, maybe too much!:-)

* where to buy: No7 cosmetics, Boots

What's your favourite highlighter?:-)

Flormar mono eyeshadow 014

Flormar cosmetics is another budget makeup brand I like. Flormar Mono Eye Shadow, shade 014 is something I bought in Belgrade a few months ago and it looks like this:
Cute packaging, the eyeshadow colour isn't very pigmented and the powder crumbles. At least it didn't cost much, it is budget friendly makeup brand.
My rating (scale 1-5, 1 - the worst, 5 - the best)

* quality: 3 - not very pigmented, it's not bad for the price paid, but it crumbles. I used Flormar eyeshadows in the past and as far as I remember they didn't crumble this much... I accidentally dropped it today and the powder spilled all over the place...Clumsy me...

* packaging: 3 - very simple with mini mirror inside the lid

* how long does it stay on: 3 - average staying power

* would I buy it again: yes, but not this shade

* overall: 3 - average quality, average packaging, average staying power, budget friendly

* where to buy: Flormar cosmetics

Sleek Pout Polish - Peach Perfection

Sleek Pout Polish, shade #964 "Peach Perfection" is the first makeup product I bought when I moved to the UK and I can't believe it took me this long to review it.:-)

Packaging: round plastic container (not really my favourite kind of packaging because I don't prefer to apply lip products with my finger), but it looks nice, so it's okay.
This is sheer peachy tinted lip balm, not very pigmented, but comfortable to wear. It stays on like any other lip balm, not too long, but it is okay, I didn't expect some super staying power, after all it is just a lip balm. It is also nice to wear in combination with very pale lipsticks, because this lip balm will tone them down.
Anyway, I like this lip balm because it's cute and I am looking forward to try more colours, maybe more pigmented ones.:-)

Any recommendations?:-)

Golden Rose Bronzing Terra Powder SPF 15

It's time to review Golden Rose Bronzing Terra Powder SPF 15, shade #103. :-) I bought this during my last visit to Belgrade (Serbia) and I like it a lot. Golden Rose cosmetics is one of the first makeup brands I started to use back in high school days (looooooong ago)... So I always buy some GR makeup when I visit my parents in Belgrade.
Most of GR makeup I've tried is quite good quality and it's quite affordable, I didn't break the wallet.:-) Since I read many good reviews about this bronzer I decided to buy it and I didn't regret it!:-)
My rating (scale 1-5, 1 - the worst, 5 - the best)

* quality: 4 - light matte bronzer, decent quality, the shade is quite light and is for women with fair skin tone, the powder may crumble a bit so I usually apply it with soft ELF studio blush brush

* packaging: 4 - plastic, nice and handy compact packaging

* how long does it stay on: 3 - good staying power, I use it to contour my face

* would I buy it again: yes - the quality is quite good for the price paid

* overall: 4 - decent packaging, decent quality, not expensive, HAPPY ME! ;-)

* where to buy: Golden Rose cosmetics (If someone knows if it's available in the UK please let me know :-))

Essence XXXL Shine Lip Gloss - Nude Candy

I am a lip gloss addict!:-) Lately, my favourite lip gloss is Essence XXXL Shine Lip Gloss, shade #19 Nude Candy. I wear it only in the combination with nude lipsticks because this shade is too pale for my skin tone, but it is great for lip combos.
All in all this is one cute, quite good and affordable lip gloss, perfect to tone down bright lipsticks.:-)

What's your favourite Essence lip gloss?
